Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering Department is one of the oldest Department at TTC. It offers one under graduate programme with three specializations and three post graduate programmes in Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Environmental Engineering. The department has highly qualified and well experienced faculty who are involved in research in the areas of Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Management etc. The department has successfully completed many research projects  and has very close interaction with many leading industries and research laboratories in areas relating to green materials, health monitoring, construction management etc.

Department of Chemical & Process Engineering Sciences was established on 2016 and offers Technology programmes in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. The department is multi-disciplinary with faculty expertise ranging from Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Polymer Science, Nanotechnology and Environmental Engineering. The department has well established laboratories as well as good infrastructure to carry out research.

Chemical Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with the processing of raw materials to desired products on large scale with the objective of the economical and successful design of unit processes and unit operations for commercial purposes

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the foremost and pioneering departments in TTC with many laurels to its credit in terms of placements, higher studies and global reach which is amply vouched by our prominent alumni in top notch companies world-wide. The department offers Undergraduate, Post Graduate, and Research Programs in Mechanical Engineering.

Students seeking to do a Mechanical Engineering program in our university will find a vibrant academic and research environment that provides core competence in the functional areas of Product Design, System Design & Analysis, Manufacturing, Sustainable Energy and Plant Maintenance, which the Mechanical Engineering Program largely encompasses.

The changing trends in Product Design and Digital Manufacturing is well accommodated in our syllabus with courses in cutting edge technologies like 3D Printing, Additive manufacturing, Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence for Mechanical Engineering, Integrated Product Design with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) concepts. Our core thrust areas of research include CAD/CAM/CAE, Condition Monitoring, Renewable Energy, Composite and Smart Materials, Mechatronics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Alternate Fuels, Thermal Energy Storage, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Industrial Tribology, and Industrial Ergonomics.

The department has also established a Centre for Simulation and Engineering Design (SIMENDES) to promote research and industry-oriented training in latest technologies. Students are given access to resources like the advanced 3D printing, CAD & FEA software, in the Centre of Excellence.
